Walla Walla, Washington · Founded by Jamie Williams
Jamie Williams is an interior designer in Walla Walla, Washington who has always known that a well-chosen pillow can change a room. She named her pillow company after her grandmother Maryjayne Sherman, who taught her to knit when she was six years old and first showed her what it meant to make something beautiful with your hands. Mary & Jayne sources fabrics from skilled artisans around the world -- hand block-printed textiles, global weaves, considered patterns -- and constructs every cover in the United States.
Jamie Williams has been drawn to textiles for as long as she can remember. Her grandmother Maryjayne Sherman was the one who started it -- teaching Jamie to knit at age six, planting the seed of a creative life that eventually became a career in interior design and then a brand of her own. She named it Mary & Jayne in her honor.
As an interior designer running her own firm in Walla Walla, Washington, Jamie learned early that pillows are the quietest secret in a well-designed room. The right cover adds color, texture, and personality in a way that no other single object quite matches -- and she kept finding that the covers she wanted for her clients didn't exist at the right quality and the right price. So she started making them herself.
Every Mary & Jayne pillow cover is constructed in the United States from fabrics sourced from skilled artisans around the world -- hand block-printed textiles, globally woven patterns, materials chosen for their tactile richness and visual depth. The designs are timeless rather than trend-driven, built to layer and mix and live in a room for years. On a registry, Mary & Jayne is the category that finishes a space -- the piece that pulls everything together and makes a room feel intentional, effortless, and completely yours.
