Brittney Ifemembi studied Economics at Northeastern, earned a graduate degree in Strategic Design from Parsons, and built a career in luxury fashion at Brandon Maxwell -- then turned her eye toward the home. Founded in 2023 in Lancaster, California, Ifsthetic makes bold, handcrafted home objects rooted in global craftsmanship and expressive design. Rich materials, vibrant color, unexpected textures. Pieces that feel collected, not styled -- and tell a story from the moment they enter a room.
Brittney Ifemembi has always moved between worlds. Raised with deep Nigerian roots and educated in the language of American luxury, she brought both with her to Parsons School of Design, where she earned a graduate degree in Strategic Design, and then to Brandon Maxwell, where she built her career at the intersection of fashion and craft. She understood instinctively how objects carry identity -- how the things we surround ourselves with tell the story of where we come from and who we are becoming.
Ifsthetic launched in 2023 from Lancaster, California, built around a single belief: a home should tell a story. The brand produces bold, handcrafted home objects -- vessels, decorative pieces, statement accessories -- that blend rich materials, vibrant color, and unexpected textures into something that feels simultaneously luxurious and playful, sultry and cool. The aesthetic is eclectic and modern, designed for people who value individuality over convention and want their home to reflect that. Every piece is made to a high standard, designed to endure beyond trend and become a lasting part of the space it enters. On a registry, Ifsthetic is the focal point -- the object that anchors a room, starts a conversation, and makes everyone who sees it ask where it came from.
