Seattle, Washington (Fremont neighborhood) · Est. 2012 · Founded by Anand Agarwal & Co-Founders
In 2003 Anand Agarwal and his co-founders drove a U-Haul full of wine bags to Seattle, moved nine people into a Capitol Hill house they called the Spaceship, and started building True Brands. In 2012, during the height of the craft cocktail renaissance, they launched Viski -- a passion project born from the frustration of not being able to find barware that was both beautiful and actually functional. Lead-free crystal, premium stainless steel, gold finishes, designed with professional bartenders and built for the home mixologist who takes their negroni seriously.
Anand Agarwal and his co-founders arrived in Seattle in 2003 with a U-Haul full of wine bags, a Capitol Hill house they named the Spaceship, and nine people under one roof. They built True Brands from that house into one of the Pacific Northwest's most recognized beverage lifestyle companies -- and in 2012, at the peak of the American craft cocktail renaissance, they launched Viski as a passion project.
The premise was simple: every barware product on the market was either too basic or too style-forward at the expense of function. Neither was good enough for the home bartender who actually cared about their drink. Viski was built to close that gap -- refined, functional glassware and tools designed in collaboration with professional bartenders and made from premium materials that hold up to years of actual use. Lead-free crystal. Premium stainless steel. Thoughtful gold finishes. Nick and Nora glasses. Julep strainers. Lewis ice bags. Every detail tested, every product vetted by a bartender community that insists on things like the right vessel for the right drink -- because it turns out the glass actually matters.
On a registry, Viski is the bar cart category -- the coupes and the shaker and the rocks glasses that make a couple's first home feel like somewhere worth entertaining.
